The products you choose from Gilance SA have undergone rigorous testing to ensure that they meet the highest quality standards. Consequently, should a defect in material or workmanship occur with any of these products, Gilance SA reserves the right, at its discretion, to repair or replace the product in accordance with the terms of this warranty.
This warranty applies exclusively to the first purchaser or beneficiary of the product and its duration is specified on the warranty card included with the product. In accordance with the law, the guarantee is valid for 2 years from the date on which the purchaser takes possession of the item, i.e. the date of delivery.
It covers manufacturing defects only, excluding damage resulting from inappropriate use (such as transporting unsuitable objects), negligence, accidents, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by conditions such as extreme temperatures, solvents, acids or water. Inappropriate repairs or maintenance will also invalidate the warranty.
The cost of returning products under guarantee is entirely at the expense of the beneficiary of the guarantee, including the cost of shipping, packaging and any taxes for the return to Gilance SA.To benefit from the warranty, you must present the duly completed warranty certificate or the original proof of purchase. Gilance's after-sales service will then determine whether the problem is covered by the warranty.
If the warranty applies, Gilance SA will repair or replace the product and will assume the cost of returning the repaired or replacement product. If an identical product is no longer available, a comparable product will be supplied.
Any indirect or incidental damage is excluded from the warranty, as is any work carried out by a third party not commissioned by Gilance SA. Unless there is a mandatory legal provision that is not covered or of public order, any other guarantee is excluded.
The guarantee is always limited to the value of the product and manufacturing characteristics may be modified without prior notice.
Any locks on the products are designed solely to prevent accidental opening and are not intended to prevent theft of the product or its contents, or deliberate opening.
